Console banned for no reason???

I recently got console banned for no reason on my xbox one if there is anyone that can help me...

i want to know why i my console was banned for no reason i think its a bunch of bull yall wont tell me exactlly why my console was banned.. i didnt do nothing wrong all i do is watch netflix and play halo reach from 8pm to 12 am... i bought my console from
a rent to own place i sent it out to get fixed and if you think its modding wow you need to gett a differnt job im personaly going to go to my lawyers office and putting a suit down on microsoft.. cause i know all of microsoft computers shut down sometime
thursday and i know somewhere in there. there was a glitch... either send me a new xbox or gett sewed... i been online since xbl came out. this is bull.. i payed hard earned money to buy this xbox and yall banned me 24 hours after i payed it off ...

Good luck convincing anyone here that a console ban was given for no reason.

 

I had the same thing happen to me as well! Playing Gears of war 4 and in a party with my son and received an email stating that I had been banned for communication!? I would also like to know how Xbox live decides to ban someone! I don't think they do any
research before they ban u!? Other than someone reporting u! And I went to their website and followed directions to fight it and I couldn't because apparently sometimes these bans u cant dispute for 24 hours! And yes that was after talking with XboxLive twice!
There is something very flawed with the way they treat reports! And a phone call to them does no good because no one with Xboxlive can help u with these complaints on the phone! Xboxlive has gone dn hill!

Doesn't that effectively cripple the console though? Given that many games do not ship completely on the disc these days, requiring massive day one "patches", the underlying functionality of the console will be crippled by the lack of internet connectivity.

How on Earth do people find this acceptable?

 

By accepting the Terms of Use after reading them when they join Xbox Live (but obviously a lot of people skip the reading part, and simply accept these rules anyway).

If they don't find that acceptable, they are free to abort joining Xbox Live and play offline. Easy as that.

 

I have no problem with account bans but to disable the console to the point that it can't access basic services such as game patches is completely wrong.

That's like Valve banning your Steam account and saying "you know what, we're going to fry your Ethernet port as well."

 

I second this motion. MS should consider banning Online interaction features only (MP Games, Social and friends) The rest should still be available. If i want to play a SP game that requires me to Sign in ONCE, i can't do that. Not all people buy xbone to
play games, some buy it for other features, all those are gone with that MS decision.

Also banning Online interaction should be Game Specific or App specific. Not Console wide.

 

Don't know how true it is but according to one ambassador, your xbox one console can inadvertinally be banned if an update gets interupted.(corupted) He also stated that if that happens, even out of warranty. That MS will fix it for free. Just be sure to
video document everything, warrenty seal intact etc before contacting enforcement and/or support.

About a year ago this happened to one person on the forums and forum goers were telling her that "console bans cannot be reversed" so she took to social media, gov agencies etc - along with video documentation etc and her console ban reversed while in transite
to MS repair.

She has a video of the whole experence on youtube.

 

That persons console was not unbanned while in transit as that persons console was never banned in the first place.

The whole situation with that person was bogus.

How can a console be unbanned during transit?

That would mean the console would somehow unpack itself,find a power brick then connect itself to the mains then connect itself online as a console can only be banned/unbanned if it's connected to live.

It would then need to disconnect itself & pack itself away in a box again & seal itself in.

Not going to happen is it?

 

Probably because of tweets and retweets to Spencer and Nelson, as well as EU consumer protection. For, lets face it. Enforcement/Support wasn't going to do anything now were they?

That video is fake.That persons console was never banned.They were told what was wrong,what to do & how to fix but refused to do it.

The same person who said that their internet was good enough to post on the forums but not good enough to go to another page on the very same site.

Explain to us all then how can a console be unbanned while in transit?

Bearing in mind the console is packed in a box with no power supply or connection to live.
