    So recently i changed my gamerpic on my Xbox one account to something other than it was, but it "didn't" go through. I then tried two more times, but to no avail. So I call it good and go to bed. The next morning, i get on my Xbox to find that im communication
    banned. So i serve out my sentence of a week. The last two days I wasn't able to play online, which isn't normal. I wait out the rest of the suspension only to find that i still can't play online or talk. So I go on the enforcement page and there is nothing
    there, besides my old, non active suspensions. So i google the effects of a console ban, and they fit the criteria, but i don't get the notification when i sign in. I then try to sign in on my buddies console, and everything works fine. I dont know if it's
    a glitch in the system or if Microsoft's enforcement team just hates me, but i want answers. My gamertag is by the way

    Banned but not banned

    so i just got off a system ban about 5. Days back. And i cant use messages or use party chat on any account. Support chat rooms have been useless they cant even tell me whats wrong. And enforcement case reviews only work if they register you have a ban.
    Which i technically dont. So im coming here cuz im done with support being useless and hopefully someone higher up sees this cuz idk what to do anymore and im just about done with xbox

    Banned But Not Banned?

    there is no personal warnings given the ONLY warning you ever get is the code of conduct that says NO modding does not matter if it is modding a game or in your case modding your avatar skin. if you cannot choose a skin color other than the default palate
    then you have to mod to do it, using a program that lets you do it so as I said it was not so much that you modded the color the problem is you used modding tools to do it. we never said you were a bad person it just stinks that due to something as small
    as changing your skin color warranted a perm ban of live with no appeal or possibility of getting it reversed sorry.

    Microsoft do not un-ban previously banned consoles as they are permanent. They do not ban people's consoles/accounts lightly, they do so after several investigations.

    The most common reason for a banned console is modifying it, but there are other reasons such as marketplace theft.

    You might want to post in section 14 in order to get an official answer.

    ok thank you what is section 14 ???? sorry not very good at this we've only used market place once and that was to buy some maps for call of duty and honestly we have done nothing wrong feel totally ripped off to be honest.

    exact same thing happend to me....I am out $300 for account theft (thank you so much Microsoft for keeping my credit card info safe) and now withing 30 days out console has been banned

    Tampering with the console is not the only reason for it getting banned. Other things like Marketplace theft and repeated violations of the
    Terms of Use are also reasons.
