Console ban

    Console ban


    i need help to lift my console ban, i had previously had a communications ban and then an online ban both for 2 weeks but they were given 2 days apart anf for some reason wjen the communications ban ended on the 21st so did the online ban, possibly an error.
    So i stayed off the account as much as possible and i sent roughly 4 or 5 messages all of them were friendly or helpful without any abuse or harassment in sight and i play a few games of nba on the 23rd and 24th and hadn't been on the account for at least
    a day and a half before i recieved both a communications ban on the 26th for no reason and then an online ban on the 28th for no reason which led to a console ban and I need help to have it lifted since i haven't actually done anything wrong and it can all
    be verified

    What happens to your games if you get banned on an XB One

    that is the same as it is now, if you manage to break the rules so badly its a lifetime account ban you loose everything jn that account.

    for a modified console its the console that is banned, I think you have to involved in active game code hacking or account phishing or other be involved in nasty completely ruin live for others areas to get a perm ban for your actual gamer account, hey are never clear on why accounts are banned tho

    It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

    Console ban

    You need to sign in with your account at enforcement.xbox.com and you can request a review of your ban. That's literally all you can do at this point.

    Would filing a review against the ban that caused the console ban have it lifted if it went my way?

    Any report has to be investigated which takes time.

    The 2nd lot of enforcement actions you received would be for something you did several weeks ago or even longer.

    You can only file for a case review on the account suspensions.

    No one here can tell you what will happen with your console if the suspensions are lifted as the enforcement team don't use the forums.

    Microsoft do not un-ban previously banned consoles as they are permanent. They do not ban people's consoles/accounts lightly, they do so after several investigations.

    The most common reason for a banned console is modifying it, but there are other reasons such as marketplace theft.

    You might want to post in section 14 in order to get an official answer.

    ok thank you what is section 14 ???? sorry not very good at this we've only used market place once and that was to buy some maps for call of duty and honestly we have done nothing wrong feel totally ripped off to be honest.

    exact same thing happend to me....I am out $300 for account theft (thank you so much Microsoft for keeping my credit card info safe) and now withing 30 days out console has been banned

    Tampering with the console is not the only reason for it getting banned. Other things like Marketplace theft and repeated violations of the
    Terms of Use are also reasons.
