Console ban

I logged into today, and got a notice for enforcement action. I thought it was odd, so I checked my enforcement history and it turns out I never got any enforcement action. I logged on to my friends account, which is on my (home)
Xbox and it turns out he was the one who received enforcement action. Anytime I try to sign in or turn on my Xbox, I get the message saying I have "enforcement". And this ban is really long, it lasts until August 16th, 2018. For some reason they issued a console
ban, which makes no sense. Apparently, any account on my Xbox is affected by the enforcement. How is that fair? Why didn't they just give HIM the enforcement on HIS profile? Was the console ban even necessary? What does my account even have to do with his?
And now I'm suck waiting, I can't message or use party chat on my own Xbox, but messaging and party works fine on Xbox app. Its weird because it happened on a completely different account with enforcement action. I don't see how that is fair. Here is proof

As you can see, it isn't glowing orange and it doesn't say or prompt a message of having enforcement. I also even removed the account to see if that would get
rid of the message, but the same issue persists.

What happens to your games if you get banned on an XB One

that is the same as it is now, if you manage to break the rules so badly its a lifetime account ban you loose everything jn that account.

for a modified console its the console that is banned, I think you have to involved in active game code hacking or account phishing or other be involved in nasty completely ruin live for others areas to get a perm ban for your actual gamer account, hey are never clear on why accounts are banned tho

It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

A console ban is just that, a console ban. No profile will work on that console. It might not seem fair, but those are the rules. Someone must’ve done something wrong while on your console.

It’s difficult to know why it’s happened as we don’t know what they did to get it banned.

weird, normally when you get enforcement action it always shows up in your enforcement history.

I can still message on Xbox app and still message. What I was curious about is why the ban happened (i.e someone reported the account, inappropriate behavior etc.) but I just got the message saying I have a ban. Is there anyway I
can find justification for it? I rarely use the account so I don't even know how/why the ban occurred.

 

There's no way to contact the enforcement team regarding console bans so there's no way to get that information from them.
