my name is jackson i just bought a network adapter for my xbox 360 its the first time i played online but when i made a account it said my xbox console is banned even thow i haven't played xbox live ever in my life i called microsoft they helped me and told
me to write a message to use to help me they said they believe me and i hope u can help me with my xbox having a console ban please get back to me as soon as u can thank you

What happens to your games if you get banned on an XB One

that is the same as it is now, if you manage to break the rules so badly its a lifetime account ban you loose everything jn that account.

for a modified console its the console that is banned, I think you have to involved in active game code hacking or account phishing or other be involved in nasty completely ruin live for others areas to get a perm ban for your actual gamer account, hey are never clear on why accounts are banned tho

It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

Wasn't there a case back in 2011 when they banned a load of consoles in error and then had to unban, and compensate, the affected people.

If such 'software' errors can happen once, what makes people think they haven't happened before or wont happen again?

 

I feel for you buddy, but short of going back to the individual you purchased the console from, there is little you can do. Most likely, the previous owner modified the console and did so in ways that violate the xbox rules, got caught and subsequently
banned and therefore decided to sell the console without informing you of the situation surrounding it-which is in itself a violation of the law, if in fact he sold it to you without informing you that the console had been banned. In other words the previous
owner was a cheating scum of human waste and not only does the person cheat in video games , he/she is also willing to cheat people in real life events. Exactly the type of sorry individual you'd expect to cheat at video games. MS tried to teach them a lesson
by banning the console and now I guess it's up to you to teach them a lesson by asking for your money back and if that does not work I would even go as far as taking them to court for it. Yes, it may seem a pittance of money to sue for but it's the principle
and lessons behind it that make it worth it. Unfortunately though, if the console was banned due to unauthorized modifications MS will never overturn the ban.

 

Caray, yo habia dejado de usar mi consola por mas de un año y ahora le actualice el disco duro comprado a un distribuidor autorizado, y cuando la encendi me aparecio si queria actualizar el software le dije que si, pero al finalizar me salio un codigo de
error que segun investigue significa que la consola esta prohibida y por lo que leo no hay nada que hacer, aunque no he violado las reglas del xbox, lastima ahora a jugar solo...
