Console ban notification Mw2 xbox one

I phoned them the day this started and the said something along te lines of "you have been banned, we do not deal with this sort of thing, you need to go to xbox enforcement." Which I had done already.

Have you tried to re-download the Profile from the steps I have provided? Because if there is no profile found in the storage section of the 360 emulator, then that means your account is not linked.

Where you able to play other 360 games without issues? If that is the case you may have a game ban, then you would contact the game developer.

(when launching other 360 games try to install your account from the 360 emulator if you where not able to do so on MW2)

Hi Jeremy, I've followed the steps and still nothing, also it happens on all backwards compatible games. However a few months ago, I was able to play red dead redemption. This game also now has the same problem.

Just so we are on the same page here, the ban notification is gone and now the issue is that the profile doesn't sign back in? We suggest trying to sign in via our
Website, also update the password on the account. Give it a shot and let us know
how it goes and keep us posted on any changes!!

 

Hi Nestor, yes the ban notification has gone and had been replaced by "can't connect to xbox live"

I'll run through what I do exactly once the console is turned on.

1) sign in

2) open up a game (MW2 for example)

3) it will say "warning you are not signed in to a profile, so you wish to sign in"

4) click yes, download profile

And that's when the "can't connect to xbox live" notification pops up.

I'd be happy to jump in and provide some input.

I think the local 360 storage on your Xbox should be cleared in the event of corrupted data files for those games. Make sure you are connected to Xbox Live so that your data is updated to the Cloud Storage and make sure the setting is turned on from the
360 emulator.

To clear the storage open up your Xbox One Settings>System>Storage>Clear local Xbox 360 storage.

Give that a try and let us know the results!

We suggest trying to (again)
Remove and Re-add the profile to the console, we understand this is kind of repetitive but it seems the issue comes from the profile itself. Go ahead and keep us posted so we can get this ironed out bud!

still has the ban. Also, in order to protect the Xbox service and its members, Microsoft does not provide details about specific console bans. For more information on console bans, visit

Banning an Xbox console or Xbox on Windows device does not disrupt the underlying functionality of the device, and it can continue to be used
offline following the ban.

If your account has not been suspended, you may still sign in to other Xbox consoles and Xbox on Windows devices. This includes accessing your purchased content and your profile, including achievements, as they existed prior to the device ban.

Hi Jasmine, if it was a console ban, then surely I wouldn't be able to play any game online? Yet I can play all my games other than those that are backwards compatible. Also I can play backwards compatible games on my friend's xbox using my account just
not on my xbox.

Thanks again for responding! We want to help out as best as we can. You make a good point about how other games have worked fine previously. Just to double check, this is being played on the Xbox One, correct since I saw many comments about the Xbox 360.

By the way, did Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 ever worked on the Xbox One previously or when exactly did the message that the console was ban start appearing? Was there a game that was installed before Call of Duty was installed? We can always try to

uninstall that game to see if it caused a corruption to the system.

Hi Jasmine, yes this is on the xbox one, I no longer have a 360 as it was stolen before I got the xbox one.

I've only just downloaded it last week so no, I've never tried it before.

I had a number of games installed before, including backwards compatible games that previously worked and only stopped working after I downloaded MW2.

I've uninstalled the game with no luck, I've also reset my xbox last night and made MW2 the first game installed on it, again with no luck.

 

I would but the only contact I can find is the virtual help which also says to contact a real person but links back to a page with no way to contact anyone.
