Console ban for voice communications? Really?

Hello, I received a console ban because of voice communications and I wanted to know if that is seriously something that can never be reversed? I mean I literally can understand if you wanted to block me from voice and text communications but to take away
my ability to play my games online with my friends when I pay for the service is ridiculous.... I live video games and I can't afford to just go out and buy a new Xbox because of this ludicrous ban.......

Console Ban

Hi,

I was told to post my issue here by the customer support person I spoke to so that I could try and get this fixed. So I got a console ban after I was reported on 2 times in a single month, however I have been playing Xbox and paying for Xbox Live since January
7, 2012. From then till now, September 17, 2017, I have not received a single suspension or ban. I find it hard to believe that Xbox believes that I am up to “nefarious activity” because of these two suspension so they give me a 2 week voice communication/stream
ban and then a 30 day console ban. I understand the voice/stream ban however a 30 day console ban does not make sense and I it feel as though they have gone a bit excessive on this. We all know that Xbox is full of gamers that will report people for things
that are actually not true. All I am asking is that the console ban be lifted because of my 5+ years of good behavior. I understand why i have the voice/stream ban and I will work on it. I hope someone will take a look at this post and see that this console
ban is excessive for someone with my track record.

Banned?? Why?

According to the
Halo 4 ban thread, the voice ban are happen when you have to many people mute you in a certain timeframe. It seems to be a problem since evidently there are now people just muting everyone, not out of habit, but simply hoping to cause other players to get
voice bans. And although the message says that the voice ban lasts one week the moderators are saying that voice bans last two.

If it's a permanent console ban then no,they are not reversed.

The Enforcement teams don't use the forums at all and they only communicate through a

Case Review. 24 Hour communications suspensions and Console Suspensions are not reviewable as Darft Badger mentioned, however you can find more information in these cases through the communication sent by the teams to the email address associated with your
Xbox Live Gamertag. Remember that all suspensions are only enforced when a breach of the Code of Conduct or Terms of Service has happened.

One of the common myths is that people who report another user for no reason will see that person suspended. This is not the case and in fact is subject to action as well for false reports which you can find more information about Enforcement Myths HERE.

If you believe the suspension was in error and if you're eligible, you can submit a case review using the steps

HERE, however sometimes you're asked to complete a short questionnaire before you can submit a case review. All of the questions refer to the

Code of Conduct, which you should review prior to filing the review.

If you fail on the questionnaire during the Case Review, don't worry as you'll be given another chance in 24 hours.
