Console Ban for Life

My son had his xbox spoofed and the guy some how got him banned. The guy also hacked my IP address and was shutting down my router. I have contacted my internet provider and had to have my IP address reset. Try to file a case with enforcement team but they
are sticking by the decision to have the xbox stay banned. So I have 2 xbox's that can't be used now. So is Microsoft or Xbox going to pay for the xbox's since the xbox 1 is new. I am being told sorry we can't do anything. What a bunch of crap. I would like
a call back from the enforcement team.

I totally agree. Ban the console for life. Keep doing this till they get the message.

 

The enforcement team don't use the forums & wont call you back anyway.

Microsoft wont pay for your xbox because according to the EULA that comes with buying a xbox, you dont actually own the console, its still property of Microsoft. The money you paid was for them to allow you to use the console as long as it is done in accordance
with their code of conduct.

If you want to use that console online then you have to follow the ToU/CoC & if you don't Microsoft can ban your console from connecting to xbox live but it can still be used offline.

It's still your console.

 

The USSC a few weeks ago ruled that you actually do own your console, if they put it up for sale and you buy it, it's no longer the manufactures personal property but rather the individuals.

This rulings going for a ride as a lot of corporate attorneys are now hard at work trying to redefine even the word. 'Is.'

The case in the USSC is pertaining to a class action lawsuit against Microsoft in regard to manufacturing defects and how the plaintiffs properly or improperly handled the appeal process.

Nothing at all against console bans or console ownership.

What's next? Are they going to hear arguments about Xbox Enforcement actions???
