    I called in to Xbox for Support and the said I have a console ban on August 24 2017 the console number is no a console I own so I don't want it tied to my account.

    My xbox one is ban for no reason

    If it really is a console ban then there is nothing you can do other than buy a new console.

    Microsoft don't use the forum for enforcement questions and don't allow appeals for console bans.

    Purchasing a second hand xbox

    I would hope anyone selling a console would delete their account of it beforehand but if not you can delete it & add your own account.

    Depends on the ban.If it was an account ban it won't affect you but if it is a console ban then you would of wasted your money.Console bans are never lifted no matter who owns the console.

    That's the risk when buying a 2nd hand console.

    Wait, you said you don't get a message saying the console is banned & now you say you are???

    Your console would not get banned just because of where you live.

    Did you buy the console pre owned?

    Try the offline diagnostic tool but if your console is banned then you will not get the ban overturned,console bans are permanent.

    No one here can tell you as the enforcement team do not use the forums.

    Are there any other accounts on your console?

    If it's a permanent console ban then that's it,it can not be appealed & will not be unbanned.

    You are allowed to play on a friends console using your own Gamertag right?

    Just to clarify once more, I can earn achievements for games I don't even own if I use my Gamertag on a friends console? I don't my account to get banned.
