Console and game issue

Hello, i was wondering if anyone else had issues lately with thier game freezing after awhile then making a buzzing noise then the console shuts down and reboots itself after like maybe 5 minutes?

Friend is saying its due to a recent update but im not sure xbox would do that and not fix that issue right away.

Any help is appreciated

If you're one the general release build there should be nothing causing that sort of issue as they are heavily tested. Could be a power or hard drive issue.

It has completely prevented people from playing and told them to purchase the game again when it is in the disc drive. It's happening to me actually. I contacted activision, and they told me it was an xbox issue, when it very clearly isn't. I contacted xbox, and they confirmed that it is indeed an Activision issue with the bad update.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game more than once, same for data packs, cleared my Mac address, hard started/cycled my xbox, and even reset my xbox. Nothing works. I'm still told to purchase the game. This started after I received the error code dev 6034 in the game yesterday.

Hi JoeBurt

Check this support page, Console turns off unexpectedly and ensure your console is well ventilated. Check for dust clogging
the ventilation holes on the sides of the console and clean them if required. I use a vacuum cleaner to suck any dust out. Others use compressed air to blow the dust out of the holes.
