console and DLC

i have saints row one, im lookin for the DLC to. And i have an Xbox 360 arcade that needs disk drive and face draw button. i have a new console and was wonderin what to do with the old one?

i have a console and my brother has one and we both pay for dlc and i want to know if i recover his gamer tag on my console and transfer licenses to my console will he still have the dlc on his console and if not will he be able to get the dlc back on his
console for free

 

If I create a New gamer tag on one console that has never touched the internet and get the 1 month x-box live because of it

Virtually all DLC (minus Avatar items) comes with two licenses, a Console license and a Gamertag license. The Console license, by design, allows DLC to be used by any profile on the console that has the Console license bound to it. Console licenses bind
to the first console DLC is downloaded to when the DLC is purchased, or the first console the DLC is downloaded to after a License Transfer.



There is no way to transfer the ownership of DLC from one account to another. If you buy a second console and re-download your DLC to that console without doing a license transfer, you'll find that your other accounts cannot access the DLC without the purchasing
account logged in. Again, this is by design.

I WOULD LIKE INFO ON GETTING SAINTS ROW ONES OLD DLC. I UNDERSTAND ONE OF THEM IS CALLED THE HO HO HO PACK. THE OTHER HAD SOME KINDA CAR.

 

You can recover your gamertag to your new console and once this is done then go to download history and download all of your content as everything will be tagged to your account.

This will also transfer the DRM to your new console so you can play.

Hi there, I'm afraid that NATO isn't fully correct this will not transfer the DRM.

To transfer all licenses you will need to use the steps explained on this link:

support.xbox.com/.../download-content at 'Can I transfer a content license from one Xbox 360 console to another?'

Without this step downloading the content will work, but other profiles will not be able to use it and you won't be able to use it when not connected to the internet. To be able to do that you will first need to transfer the licenses (DRM) and then redownload
the content.

So in short.

1. Download the profile via the steps here:
support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

2. Transfer the licenses for your account to the new console:
support.xbox.com/.../download-content at 'Can I transfer a content license from one Xbox 360 console to another?'

3. Redownload the DLC etc like mentioned here:
support.xbox.com/.../view-download-history
