Console and Account Ban

Hello!

Its my console banned? I got ban for my Account but i dont know why i cant play at anoteher accounts on my console. When my console is banned, how long?. Here its my Gamertag and the last 2 digits from my XO ID:

What happens to your games if you get banned on an XB One

that is the same as it is now, if you manage to break the rules so badly its a lifetime account ban you loose everything jn that account.

for a modified console its the console that is banned, I think you have to involved in active game code hacking or account phishing or other be involved in nasty completely ruin live for others areas to get a perm ban for your actual gamer account, hey are never clear on why accounts are banned tho

Account Ban and Console Ban

My account was banned for life because I played illegal software which had not been released on a mates console , however my COD MW3 Console has never been modded or tampered with in any way . Is this fair to ban my console when it has not infringed Microsoft's
rules .

A console ban will not do anything to your account. Harassment is more likely to cause his account to be permanently banned rather than a console ban. But if there is a console ban it does not ban the accounts on the console.

ok thanks, and also if that account ban results in a console ban, that account will be banned everywhere but the console ban will only be on that specific console not any others even if they have the banned account on it since the console bans result from violations made on that specific console, correct?

If the console is banned, you can't sign into any accounts on the console. If only an account is banned, then a non-banned account can sign into the console.

There are different kinds of bans an account ban and a console ban. The account ban which a communication ban is will follow your account it is not tied to the console so yes it would follow you to the One.

An account ban doesn't always mean a console ban. It depends on the severity of the offense and if multiple accounts have received multiple bans on that console it can cause a console ban.
