  1. Consol wide passkey!?

I am having an issue with other people using my Xbox One without permission. I have put a passkey on my account and turned on as many restrictions as I could but the "continue without saving" feature on games is allowing them to play games such as NHL17
without signing into an account (guest or otherwise). I am hoping to find a consol wide lock down feature where a passkey is required to start up the consol. If such thing does not exist I am looking to bring to idea to Microsofts attention.

    :)

    Problem with passkey sign-in

I have my profile on 2 xbox one consoles.

My friends console and my own.

I want a passkey to sign in on my friends console

And just use Kinect to auto-sign me in on my own console

Problem is that when I put a passkey on my friends console it automatically syncs to my own console which then starts asking me for a passkey.

I want it like it was on the 360. I could have a passkey on one console and auto-sign in on another.

How do I do this on the xb1?

    Consol wide passkey!?

    Hey there!

Currently there is not a system wide password lock on the Xbox One console. I do recommend checking to see if anyone posted a similar idea up on the
Xbox Feedback page and vote on it! That is the best way to have you voice be heard.

    Hope this helps!

    lock the console with passkey

    No, currently the
    personal passkey
only protects the profile alone. There is no passkey feature that locks out the entire console.

If you would like to see this feature implemented, you can submit your suggestion as a new thread here:
http://xbox.uservoice.com. This is the official website that Microsoft uses to gather consumer feedback and implement featured ideas into future system updates.

    Password for downloads?

    Hi XxXGAMERgirl123

Have you tried creating a passkey?

    Create an Xbox One passkey

A passkey gives you a layer of security that you can use more quickly than your Microsoft email and password, and more secretly than your voice.

When you create a personal passkey, you get the following benefits:

    • A passkey protects against a child signing in as the parent and overriding parental controls. A personal passkey prevents a child from simply clicking on the parent’s picture, signing in as the parent, and changing the child’s otherwise
      parentally controlled settings.
    • A passkey helps to prevent unapproved charges. You can choose to require a passkey to make any purchase on Xbox Live. Setting a passkey helps prevent children from making unapproved purchases.
    • A passkey allows the parent to grant content exceptions. The only way for a parent to override a content limitation is by entering his or her personal passkey, so it’s easier to manage what content your children can see on your console.
    • Your passkey roams with you. The passkey that you set on your profile follows you to any Xbox One console you use. As long as you sign out when you leave, you can feel secure knowing your account is safely saved to your friend’s console
and ready for you the next time you come over to play.
    • A forgotten passkey defaults to your Microsoft account password. If you forget your passkey, the console will default to your Microsoft account password as a fail-safe.

    How to create your passkey

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select System > Settings > Account.
    3. Select Sign-in, security & passkey.
    4. Select Create my passkey.
    5. Enter a 6-digit passkey, and then re-enter the passkey to confirm.
Your passkey has now been set.
