Consistent Freezing (Please Read Entire Post)

So, I have the launch XB1X. I have a Toshiba 1TB External. About a month ago Tekken 7 would start freezing during matches. I'd get a few dropped frames and then it would freeze. I wrote it off a potential issue with T7. Ended up playing GTA 5 only to have
the same thing happen. Now it's happening across many games. I'll list every piece of troubleshooting I've done so please read this and do not just tell me to factory reset. I'm experienced
with these so all I ask is to not ignore what I've done. I'll list it into different parts to organize it a little better. XB A will be the launch one and B will be the new one I've bought a few days ago. All of these have resulted in the same freezing (Screen
completely freezes and you get the buzzing noise until Xbox force closes the game) and since I have no easy way of contacting Xbox Support, this is my best bet. Thanks everyone!

Xbox One X (A) with External HDD Troubleshooting

*Hard reset (holding down the power, unplugging, etc)

*Reinstalled Game(s)

*Moved Games from External to Internal

*Opt out of preview to be on current stable build

*Reset and removed everything

*Checked NAT

*Checked Ports

*Checked to make sure static IP still lined up

*Formatted the External

*Cleared the persistent storage in blu-ray

Xbox One X (A) without External

*Reset and removed everything

*Reinstalled games

*Checked network settings individually again

*Cleared persistent storage again

At this point I gave up and went and bought a new Xbox One X.

Xbox One X (B) without External fresh out of box

*Checked network settings immediately and adjusted

*Installed previous games that were freezing, all digital copies (Tekken 7, GTA 5, Dead Rising 2, Monster Hunter World)

*Reset the console again

*Reinstalled games again

I did not bother hooking up the external since this is clearly no longer an external drive issue. Since this has happened on two consoles I would guess it would be safe to rule out that it's a console fault as well since it's the SAME thing happening. Any help/tips/fixes
would be great. I'm not entirely happy with what's happening but I can't for the life of me figure out why it's happening.

Hey there, the only two things I can think of is that you need to try plugging the Xbox directly into the wall with no extension cords or power strips. And the second thing is since you’re using digital games that are being downloaded, maybe some combination
of what you’re downloading is causing an issue. I would say delete everything, hard reset and even factory reset on the brand new one, and try one game at a time. Download one and give it 30 to 60 minutes of playtime and see if anything changes. If that works
move onto another game and rinse and repeat and see if you can duplicate it again

Don't overload your wall outlet, extension cord, power strip, or other electrical receptacle. Confirm that these are rated to handle the total current drawn by your Xbox (as shown on the power supply), and by any other devices on the same AC circuit.

The other thing to check is the ventilation holes on the sides of the consoles. I vacuumed mine the other day and was surprised how much dust had collected in them. Console now runs a lot quieter than it had been.

I wanted to give an update and I almost forgot!! Changing the electrical setup did in fact fix it. I had not even considered the possibility. Thank you so much for the hasty response!
