Consistant freezing games

I've had my xbox less than a month and it has just recently starting receiving problems. Basically whenever I put in nba live 2014, which is a disc ,it will load and play for about 5 minutes then unexpectedly crash every single time. The same thing for netflix,
it isn't as consistent but it would stop loading and then drop me off at the dashboard. Forza 5 ,which is digital, crashed just like nba. My xbox has turned of randomly at times and completely frooze all together. Now I do live in a college door so the WiFi
isn't great, actually quite a lot of people use it but for trouble shooting I was helpped by a representative and he walked me through a cache clear and factory resetand made me reinstall everything because he thought it was a data couruption. The same problems
are persistin and I was using WiFi when I was the only one on it so are there any more steps I can take or do I have a faulty xbox that needs replacing?

Xbox repairs

I called your customer support line for help. I requested that I was sent a label to send my xbox back in AGAIN for the following reasons: Game Skipping, Consistant Freezing, and Its ruining my games (The ones I paid $60+ for!). I would like for this to
be fixed and help me by sending a label for my xbox so I can ship it back to you guys for furthur repairs. I am very disappointed with my service, and I may no longer continue purchasing Microsoft Merchandise. Thanks, Robert Webb ().

Need consistant connection?

Hi im sure this subject has been brought up so many times but i cant seem to find any posts that would help. My problem (like so many) is inconsistant internet connection when gaming.

I have cable internet, 1 modem, 4 computers running off the modem. actually 1 is connected by ethernet and the rest wireless. not all computers are on at the same time but 1 is running pretty much 24/7 playing WOW.

There are also 2 xbox's running wireless off the same modem.

My question is can i get better reception for my xbox with an additional modem or buy a router? Ive only heard through other people and what they do to get better connection. Can anyone help?

Hello

Could you check if your console is on Instant On ? This is most likely the issue of the freezing.

Does the game consistently freeze around the same area in the game?

Does it freeze every two to five minutes on a new game save?

Did it freeze before the game was installed to the HDD?

If your games are consistently freezing then perhaps the issue lies not with the games themselves but with your console or hard drive.

If it's consistently freezing even without a storage device attached, yes.
