Considering the NextGen alternative..

I'm not happy with my console not working at all(sorry, the console light still works!) after doing a system update, considering my 360 console is 5yrs old and still going strong.

Xbox Support informed me that the console needs to be replaced and will take a week or two to be sent out. After asking, I found out that all data from the console would be lost.

Not being a big Halo fan and Ryse being a horrible button basher, I'm trying to work out why I shouldn't trade for a PS4 and give it a go..?

Would the PS3 3D TV Bundle work with an Xbox 360?

Im really considering getting this, it's a great alternative to migrate to the 3d realm.

If you had your console connected to the internet the whole time, although the local content will be erased from the console, all of your game saves are automatically uploaded to the cloud. Sure you will have to re-install all of your games etc. but any
progress you have made through your games will be there.

It's unfortunate that you have picked up a faulty console, sure it happens. However I've had my Xbox One since day one, It's been played every day since then for more hours than I feel comfortable disclosing :/ and I've had no issues whatsoever...

I guess you really need to bee looking at the fact you are still in warranty and therefore will get a free replacement, and the exclusives that are coming up.

Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, Fable Legends... It really depends what games you are into...

Personally I love the Xbox One's simplicity and vision. Xbox has always been, in my eyes, moving forward. Sure it doesn't always take off and they get a lot of stick for it, but having the confidence to try and the boldness to push it out there means that
every so often they get it right and leap ahead of the competition. Other companies seem to just play it safe then jump on the bandwagons of others successes.

Anyway, I wish you the best either path you take. Ultimately it's down to you and where you feel you'd be happiest.

 

I agree with you, Sn1per. I agree the Xbox's vision is to move forward. I'm disappointed they are moving without the Kinect, but I understand why. Def87a, I know you don't have a fully functioning Xbox, but exchange it for a better one. It is seriously
a sweet console (when it's working).
