Connexion drop with Xbox Live

EN : Hi everyone,

I recently bought an new Xbox One. So I connected it to my internet network which performance is 10Mbit/s (1.5 Mbyte/s ), a pretty good connexion 'cause I'm pinging at 40ms in some of my Pc games.

But the fact is that when I make a connexion test after launching my Xbox, I refind my stats ( 10MBits/s ) and the problem is that when I try to find a game on Xbox Live, my connexion suddently drop, and sometimes disapear and i'm pinging at 1080ms with
less than 0.5 Mbits/s, and I feel this connexion drop and all the netwwork because my call on Skype with my phone begin to have a robotic voice, which is not happening the other time.

I really need a solution so if someone of you got any idea about what's happenning and how to fix it, I can't tell him how much grateful I will be

J'ai récemment reçu une Xbox One. Par conséquent elle est connecté mon réseau qui est d'environ 10 Mbits/s ( 1.5 Mo/s ), une connexion qui est parfaitement jouable vu que sur certains jeux Pc je tourne 40ms de ping.

Or sur cette Xbox One, quand j'arrive sur celle ci après le démarrage, j'obtient avec le test une analyse de 10 Mbits de téléchargement, jusqua la tout va bien.

Cependant quand j'essaye de lancer une partie multijoueur en Xbox Live, la connexion sur celle ci commence baisser voir même se désactiver sur la console, je ping plus de 1080ms et ai un débit inférieur 0.5 Mbit/s et cela se ressent sur toute ma connexion
vu que j'ai des baisses de connexion quand j'utilise Skype avec mon téléphone.

Si quelqu'un une idée ou une solution je lui en serait énormément reconnaissant.

PB de connexion au Xbox live

j'ai un problème de connexion au xbox live je n'y arrive pas me connécter pourtant la connexion ma box et internet passe très bien ya que le xbox live qui ne se connecte pas ???

What kind of modem and router do you have ? Some have been having problems...

I'm working with ADSL 2+ with a Linksys EA4500 router.

But the fact is that I played with the Xbox 360 since 5 years and I never had this kind of problem, my network is working well on the other devices of the network =s

And gonna try tomorrow to be in the same configuration with my 4G phone connection, we'll see if the problem persist.

Maybe a NIC card problem ...

So the ADSL 2+ is a modem ? and your Linksys plugs into that ?

To be precise, my internet provider is Free ( french society ), so my modem is a Freebox v6 .

ADSL 2+ is the type of connection ( yes because optic fiber is not widespread in France ... )

And finally, yes my router Linksys router plugs into that, and this router is the Wifi source of my house.

Take the router out of the loop and plug the Xbox one straight into the modem and see how it acts. ...and hello France !!! Love you fries ...

Haha, yes we're back but there is to much laxness with our politic system to be in security ...

By the way I think I finally found the problem. It was basically that there was an update available for the Xbox One. I got this console since 1 week so I'm discovering all the setting and I chose the economy mode so the update are not automatical.

I tested it with my friend on NBA and the connection was perfect and the problem was just and old nightmare. I hope that it will be the same on my next connection.

Bimnog is good at troubleshooting these issues. We are glad you resolved the issues. Yes, it is always good to check to make sure everything is running the latest software/patches.

Thanks for posting back with your results it always helps those that are having similar issues but it also helps those of us that attempt to help others resolve issues with their systems. Obviously, no one will ever experience all the issues that can happen
