Connectivity post deleted! Why??

I posted a pretty long a complex problem last night on here.. I really need help sorting. I had a couple of replies and one from someone who said it might be a problem with xbox live itself. Since then its been deleted.......

Can it be re-instated if MOD's have shut it down?

You sure it's not just been moved to another section?

I've had times when I thought a post was deleted but when looking in "My Discussions" ( For me I see these at the bottom of page after clicking on Xbox Forums ) I saw it was still running but on a different forum.

Unless a post has turned into "World War 3" and a moderator deleted/locked it then my guess it's probably been moved.

 

The thread was probably moved because this isnt a support forum.

 

Usually if a thread is deleted or moved to another section of the forums, you'll receive an email that is sent to the email address associated with your Xbox Live account which will explain why it was deleted or where it was moved to. Check there and see
if they sent it to you. If they didn't, then your guess is as good as mine.

 

No its not in my discussions and i have no email!?

 

It was moved, to xbox one support.

They must only do that occasionally considering I've never received an email from these forums after a post has been deleted, or for any other reason actually.

 

You get a private message not an email.

 

Nope, for me it's either an email or both...

 

Ive never heard of anyone getting an email that their thread has been moved

 

Maybe I'm special then...

In most cases you should get an email to explain the move (sections to and from). Though if some of you are not receiving emails it 'may' be due to your forum preferences or email setup. Either way, I am glad this has been resolved. I hope you get the answers
