    I used to have the xbox one x and never had connection issues with the console but I upgraded to the new series s on January 4th and straight out the box it couldn't stay connected to wifi for more than 15 minutes but when its connected all my speeds are normal. I would watch my download speeds drop till my xbox disconnected from the internet but all my other devices are just fine. Ive tried resetting my router/ modem the xbox itself, clearing the Mac address etc. and yes my nat type is open. Im just trynna play the game and it seems I was better off not trading in my older xbox for this new one that's supposed to be better but clearly isn't. is there anything I can do to stop my connection from dropping randomly.

    Update!

    With the ethernet cable plugged I experienced no disconnections. I think that the problem is with my flatemates xbox as i've used the wifi adapter at home on my own xbox without problems. I Think i'll just buy a 15m ethernet cable, dont think they are too
    expensive.

    It's most likely caused by that moderate NAT you say is showing up. You'll need to either port-forward the necessary ports for Xbox LIVE to your Xbox console, or you'll need to put your Xbox in your router's DMZ.
