    I have been having consistent connectivity issues with my Xbox one connecting to my wireless router. I know I should probably upgrade my router, but My box loses connectivity when other devices remain active. Due to this I started plugging in directly to
    the router and it solved all issues until yesterday when I was not able to connect to any sort of multiplayer on Xbox Live. I was not banned, all the ethernet cables worked in other devices, and I was still able to connect to Netflix. I went through all the
    troubleshooting online, and contacted a support specialist last night (for 1.5 hours) and I also contacted someone tonight (8/26) and we were disconnected somehow. I did a complete reset of the router and modem and I am still having problems with it. Is it
    an issue with the ethernet port on my xbox? Is it the wireless on my xbox? I was unable to contact my ISP about the issue, and won't be able to until Thursday when the account holder is available.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey again Hakko,

    Changing to WiFi actually did make it better for quite some time, but after a while the issue showed up again.

    Thanks for the try anyway!

    Anyone any more suggestions?

    Have you tried resetting the Xbox? Hold the power button on front of the Xbox until it turns off then unplug it for 5-10 mins

    Update!

    With the ethernet cable plugged I experienced no disconnections. I think that the problem is with my flatemates xbox as i've used the wifi adapter at home on my own xbox without problems. I Think i'll just buy a 15m ethernet cable, dont think they are too
    expensive.

    It's most likely caused by that moderate NAT you say is showing up. You'll need to either port-forward the necessary ports for Xbox LIVE to your Xbox console, or you'll need to put your Xbox in your router's DMZ.
