Connectivity Issues with Xbox matchmaking services

So i have a simple-ish question to ask for a very specific connectivity issue. I am using a cell phone to connect my pc to the internet via a tether/wired in connection. I have full connectivity to the internet as a whole, can play and download games on steam or epic for example. Another example would be being able to play and download final fantasy without interruption. However when I download a game that requires my Microsoft account such as for state of decay in this case and Grounded which was another time I attempted to play with others. It will launch and play properly but in a state of which I cannot connect or host a multiplayer session.

As far as I am able to see the only issue im running into a complete packet loss to the servers which may be preventing my online play. The phone is running IPV4/IPV6, I have attempted everything that came up under the Toredo fix as well. And currently I no longer have the Toredo error under the NAT Type section of the screen shot.

In games like State of Decay it will flash up each time I attempt to host an online game that there is a network error every few moments, at the bottom of the screen. Showing that the attempt to make a lobby is being made to no avail. Because of my limited internet options and using a phone as my primary source of internet connection I have no router of sorts to adjust ports that I can access at my current means. This issue only exists on games that require my Microsoft login.

Sadly I live in a rural area where we do not even have cable that we can access at the home. Meaning the only network possible is the one offered via a phone connection. Now I have taken my PC itself to other homes, a few miles away, as a test and managed to connect to their Wifi and it worked as intended.

So far so good with no adverse issues that I can see so far or in the other games ive tested since then. All downloads are going at their usual speeds. so id say that may have fixed the issue but i can always update this thread if any new symptoms arise that im not noticing now from doing the that toggle.

Yhea I figured as much its just aggravating that the mobile network is only blocking the matchmaking coding for xbox multiplayer games specifically. The net provider I am using though is Verizon just for reference if that helps anyone later on with similar questions. Ironically though I can play games on my xbox 1 and xbox 360 perfectly fine from the same phone based connection. The only diffrence between the 2 is that my consoles need to use a mobile hotspot connection where as the PC I can either do hotspot or my tethering option.

Some mobile carriers restrict the use of your network. So, this can be cause of these connection issues

Checking your NAT type you have it as Moderate, the best option is have an Open NAT type. But the thing is that you can't open ports using a mobile connection as far as I know.

In order to isolate a bit more the problem, please try using a completely different WiFi network, if possible a home network and verify if the issue persists
