    Connectivity issues with EA games


    Hi,

    I'm having major issues with Fifa21 and Star Wars Battlefront II. I can play online for a short time and then i get kicked back to the Xbox start screen with no error code.

    I've contacted EA numerous times and run the UO traces. They have said that it is because other devices use the internet connection. I understand that draw on the connection could be a problem but when it doesn't happen with any other games (Overwatch etc.)
    I can't see this being the problem.

    Did anyone have any other suggestions? I have forwarded the specific have ports.

    Also remember EA games are notoriously bad when it comes to server/connectivity issues. Ive had issues like that with every EA game Ive ever owned.

    Hey OP, I know that once a new version of a game comes out, it can become quite difficult to connect to servers for older versions of the game. Do you have any more-recent EA titles that work without issues? Again, any connection issues with EA-specific
    games will need to be addressed with EA directly.

    this is not a problem on your end, it is EA that is the problem. EA forces us to use their servers and EA drops old games from their servers in favour of newer ones that are played more. also sometimes their server is crapping out with so many connections.
    so when you boot the game its connects through live first then connects to EA...and boom!!! disconnect issues (but your still connected to live)

    The connection of the game itself has issues I no longer play the game that's to EA's lack of understanding the connection issues who doesn't care what our connection problems are..

    Hey doooo, to be clear, are you having an issue connecting to any other game on LIVE? If you're able to connect to matches in other games, I suggest contacting EA about the issue.
