Connectivity issues to router with multiple Microsoft devices online.

when I have both my Xbox one and my windows 10 PC online and connected to the same router at the same time, my router kicks them both out randomly. Sometimes I can be connect all day with no issues and other days it'll kick them 10 times in a row but every
other device stays connected just fine. If just one is connected there is never any issue at all. Also they both connect to the same Microsoft account if that helps any.

Anyone else ever had this issue and know a fix cause it's really annoying when I'm doing something online and then boom no internet. Getting a new router is basically out of the question too since it's a all in one package with the provider. Mind you before
windows 10 I never had issues like this. Also direct connect is impossible it's a hotspot router with no Ethernet plugs. They have seperate ips I manually assigned to each device too. Thanks if anyone has any Ideas.

Xbox 360 S Wireless networking issues

I've had some issues concerning wireless connectivity with the Xbox 360 S. It is connected to my 802.11b/g/n router which is located pretty close to the console. However, it detected only 4/5 bars but still otherwise stable (instead of a full signal on my
laptop) and it randomly disconnects from Xbox live, despite its proximity to the router as well as a stable signal.

Is it the console or the router? I can verify the router isn't at fault since I have other devices (namely my laptop and iPhone) that connects to the router without issues. At the moment, I'm using an Ethernet cord or online connectivity. The router is in
a semi-enclosed area but still, no issues on other Wi-Fi capable devices.

What Jakob said, you are going to want something like fiber not just your general cable stuff. This is far more true if you want everyone online playing multie, or if you want to have one or more people streaming while playing online.

There are a lot of factors, we need more information. How many online at one time, how many streaming at one time... This is important, but if you want 5 with good connections and one or more streaming you are going to want a big connection.

You are going to want really fast net it's not going to be cheap at all that's for sure. You'll also want a router that can handle multiple xboxs on it at one time, some routers have issues when there are multiple.

I had my xbox one conflict and one of my Windows 10 PC, I enabled ipv6 on my router and since everything works.

 

sadly this router doesn't support ipv6

wireless i already stated the hot spot has no ethernet ports.

Tried setting manual seperate ips. tried manual dns's. dmzing

unpn is on

nat type strict

errors unknown other than at times i have a issue with stuff unable to resovle the xbox dns or something like that every so often

this troubleshooting guide. However please note that if you continue to experience issues with your hotspot, you will need to reach out to AT&T directly. We are unfortunately unable to assist as hotspots are not recommended for connecting to Xbox Live.

That's just it though the dns issue isn't much of a problem. Its the whole two Microsoft account devices being on at the same time yet being occasionally rejected by the router repeatedly that is the problem. A issue that doesn't seem to be specific to just
one type of internet or router. It only happens when two devices using the same Microsoft account connect to the same router, never tested with two different accounts
