Connection

Ever since the NOXE I have been unable to connect "fully" to Xbox Live as my pins will not load as well as the Oneguide and following tabs will be grey and my multiplayer connection tests will not load and I get error 0x780 but I am connected and I cannot
load my previous game saves or play multiplayer games can I please have some help or fix on this?

I'm guessing your playing Advanced Warfare? Sure it doesn't say "Connection to the host has been lost" which means, obviously, that you can no longer connect to the games host? I'm pretty sure the reason it will kick you from games is because you have an overly high ping (in excess of 200ms I think). Try looking for games hosted in your local area, because from the sound of it you and your friend are joining games that are being hosted by players in other states/countries, which will have an impact on your connection and occasionally have you kicked. Happens to me all the time on BF and CSGO

 

How to connect to Xbox Live in X1

There is no button or menu to connect!

The system is not connected, I do a network test and it passes, but still is not connected... I can't do anything with the X1 if it's not connected to live!

Is there a way to manually connect to Xbox live in this console?

 

As always , hard reset the xbox AND the modem and router , if still no , then sign out of your profile , then back in....if STILL no go , delete your profile then re download it...other than that , we have to start looking at connection issues , type of
modem and router (model #'s) who is your isp , is nat open , and so on...

 

I have tried all of the above but to no avail should I list my ISP details and such?

If you port forward AND do upnp , you have confused the router....I would it "restore to factory defaults" , then check to see if upnp is enabled ....that's all it should take if its working properly...next step would be to put it in "bridge mode " (sometimes
isp's have that blocked) if you bridge it , it disables all the router functions and only the 1st port is hot , plug the xbox up to it with a cable and see if it will work like that ...if it does , we know the router part of the gateway is the bad guy here....

 

However I can't do the second solution of the first does not work however as I am a floor above it and it can't move

 

Oh and I reset it and it did not work but UPnP was enabled once again

 

if you cant move the xbox close enough to try it wired I'm not sure what else you could do to troubleshoot other than take the xbox to a friend or family members house and try it on a different network...

 

Well I don't understand why it won't work it worked perfectly before I got the dashboard update in the preview so I don't understand why it won't work
