Connection Xbox Live

I have a new Xbox 360 Slim with Kinect bought for Christmas as a gift to my daughters. We are unable to play because the console requests an update. But I'm not able to connect to Xbox Live, every time the console checks the Xbox Live connection it does
not work. I bought an Xbox Gold subscription to see if this will solve my problem, but the console never asked me for my account and my password. The internet connection is good but I can not connect to Xbox Live, so impossible to do the update. I try with
a USB stick and also a CD and DVD but the update is not done. So I've been running around for 3 days. Would this be a problem with my router? But I tried with the 4G of my cell phone and with the wire of the modem directly in the console and it does not work
any more. I am wondering if the problem is really the update because when I look at the system information of the console, the update number entered is: version of the operating system: 2.0.17511.0: I am desperate, I regret my purchase. Help me please. Thank

Xbox Live is under DDOS attack at the moment. I'm sure MS will have it solved shortly.

 

How to connect to Xbox Live in X1

There is no button or menu to connect!

The system is not connected, I do a network test and it passes, but still is not connected... I can't do anything with the X1 if it's not connected to live!

Is there a way to manually connect to Xbox live in this console?
