Connection well over min. requirements but losing 80% of packets

There is a possibility that it is related to your internet service provider. Xbox live requires your internet be over a certain speed to be able to achieve certain speeds of packet sending. When the speed drops it can cause you to lose connection randomly.
When this happens record the time and date and give your internet provider a call and see if there was any unusual drop in internet speed around that time frame.

All you people so worried over big brother better lose the cell phone as of now. Cell phones not only have gps, camera, and a mic but are always connected. And for those few min your in the cell hole well it will just record it and send where you been
to big brother later.

Hi is there a solution for this as yet? my son has been having problem losing connection on and off over the Christmas period and we thought it was the network but this has all been checked out. The xbox one is connected over the wireless network and checking
the signal strength everything seems to be ok but he's showing 100% packet loss????

Does the router support wifi? You may want to try wireless connection over the powerline adapter. If in you statistics there packet is loss that is high especially for what is considered to be a wired connection. latency is high as well for a wired
connection.

While we are discussing connections. I have a average 30 down and 8 up with no packet loss, BUT my ping/latency is always like 80 something. Weird.
