Connection to Xbox One via Xbox App

The Xbox App will not connect to my Xbox One. They're on the same network. My Xbox One is updated. My Windows 10 is updated. I've tried restarting both the PC & Console numerous times. I've tried resetting the data for the Xbox App. Nothing is working. I've
changed nothing since it was working yesterday. I've tried both the beta Xbox App and regular. It just won't connect and instantly says "We couldn't connect to your console." Why?

    :)

    Xbox one tv volume

Hi everyone. I have my youview box connected to my xbox one, however the tv volume when watching through it is a lot louder than all the other games/apps. This is slightly annoying as I have to constantly change volume when swapping between tv and games etc. The youview box is connected via hdmi to the xbox and then xbox to my av receiver. Anyone else having the same issues??

Disable NVIDIA Shadow Play for Xbox One Streaming

Thought I'd add this here as a separate post as I've discovered that NVIDIA GE Force Experience Shadow Play blocks Xbox One Streaming via the Windows 10 App. Actually it more than blocks streaming it blocks connection to the Xbox One via the App, the Windows
10 Xbox App doesn't even see an Xbox console to connect to.

If you have Shadow Play, disable it before attempting to stream Xbox One to save yourself a lot of headaches (took me weeks to figure this out!). You can still record game footage via the Windows Key + G method so nothing lost.

  5. Hi,

May we know if you've changed the settings on the console to Allow SmartGlass connections?

Another solution you may perform is to uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app on Windows 10. Here are the steps:

    1. Click Start > All apps > Windows PowerShell. Right-click Windows PowerShell and click More > Run as Administrator.
    2. In the Windows PowerShell window, copy and paste the following command: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage
    3. Once done uninstalling, click this
      link
      and download the Xbox app.

Cannot access my Xbox game pass downloaded games - error 0x803f900a

    Hi WilburNemesis,

sorry to hear but please take a look first here
    "error code 0x803F900A"
. Sometimes the Internet Connection is to slow to verify your account, in the XBOX App so try to start via the STORE APP or try to connect via RJ45 cable. You can also try to reset the XBOX APP (All Setting/APPS/Apps and Features).

    Hope this helps

None of the steps worked! All other devices like Android phone, PC, and other windows tablet are streaming fine except the surface go. Noting that I did update the devise today to the latest build software.
