Connection to servers??

can anyone help or is anyone getting the same issues,

I bought halo wars 2 definitive edition before it was released it's worked fine up until 2/4 days ago now when I load it up to play it won't connect to the halo servers at all I restart the Xbox and the game but still the same thing, but what I have noticed
is that I can try and play it all day and nothing no connection to there servers but around 9pm uk time it's like a switch has been flipped and winner it works and connects to there servers no problem, any ideas? As it's annoying as the people I play with
are comming off at that sort of time it be nice to play the game I paid for with friends, thanks any help would be fantastic

this page; can you check to see if you're using the proper firmware listed there too?

Yeah the computer works fine and all, stable connection.

Back when it was working, the connection would open up when i turn on the console and it would be fine.

Although when the console itself is running, the fan is loud where i can hear it but no problems so far...although you think?

 

Hey there Demon Kroozer, sounds like this could be an issue with your network setup.

Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console?



Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and please provide the following information.

• Download Speed
• Upload Speed
• Latency
• Packet Loss %
• Wireless Strength (if applicable)
• Modem Manufacturer
• Router Manufacturer (if being used) as well as the model number

Is this problem happening with all games and apps as well? What exact error message are you seeing on the screen?

That information will help us determine the next best steps. Thanks!

Hello there thanks for your reply!! I've been on the waypoint forum and none from 343 seems to be interested **** poor when you have paid for game you can't play with friends,

But it's not down to my connection I play all my other games with no issues no lag no nothing battlefield, cod ark GTA ect ect but here are the stats

38mb download

12.42 upload

72 latency

0 packet loss

85% signal strength

It's a sky router which is new

I don't know what to do any help is welcome I've even re installed the game with still no change. It be nice to play the game without having to wait until 9pm everyday...

Can you tell us more about the sky router? Sometimes these devices have built in settings than need to be changed, that will help us do a bit more digging to see if we can find any known issues. Do you know which version it is? It may say on the bottom of
the device. Also, have you contacted your ISP about this at all?

thanks again for the reply, I have been through my router settings it's all up to date and working perfectly I have been on to my isp and again no issues my net is fine, as I said all my other games play perfectly online with no issues I've tried every game
I own and the all play online, it's just halo wars 2, all it does it says connected to halo wars 2 servers and then within a second disconnected from halo wars servers constantly until 9pm and then it works, which is strange because it knows my rank how long
I've played what skulls I've got ect but won't play online until 9pm at night uk time, now there has just been an update for halo wars 2 a 7gb update and guess what it's still the same, I'm so fed up of trying to play this game I've been playing this game
from day one when the original halo wars came out up till now looks like I will have to wait until 9pm still to play it that's if it's going to work at all after this update... what can I do is there a direct chat to 343 or customer support for them?? Because
I don't know what to do all I want to do Is play the game with friends which I cannot do thanks, Liam

When you contacted your ISP did you also mention that it's stopped working at 9pm consistently? What did they have to say about that? 343i doesn't have a direct chat line or phone number to contact them. Since they are a first party studio, Microsoft or
Xbox Support in this case would handle most troubleshooting cases. You could post on the Halo Waypoint Forums
HERE to see if anyone else is also experiencing this issue though. It's possible a developer may respond, but we couldn't guarantee it.

When I contacted my isp I told them my issues they checked my connection and it's fine there is no issue, and sorry you seem to have the problem wrong way around it's at 9pm uk time halo wars 2 will work and let me play online with friends, obviously at
some point during the night early hours I would think it will loose connection to halo wars servers and then will not let me play it again until 9pm uk time, the following day it's so frustrating because any other game I have which I have tried them all will
work and play with no issues single player, online multiplayer, at anytime of day or night no problem... it's just halo wars and the connection to there end it must be I mean what would be so significant about 9pm uk time why all of a sudden will it let me
play the game online? Because anything before 9pm is pointless as the game will load up but will not connect to there servers until after 9pm.. so what's going on at there end at 9pm uk time?

As for the halo way point forum to be honest it's useless I've posted up on there and no one has replied not even anyone from 343... even tho I have seen them reply to posts newer and older than mine it's like there not interested that I've paid over £60
for the top edition of the game and I can't play it, it's ridiculous that they don't have a direct chat or help line,

So it raises the question what do I do next because I've paid for a game that I cannot play?? If this isn't going to work can I have a refund?

Sorry I misspoke, I understood the issue was that it works after, but not before I just typed it incorrectly. Any refunds would be handled by our Chat/Phone teams, they may be able to look at some other options as well. The other suggestion I would make
is to try using another Internet connection to see if the same issue happens. Ideally one with a different ISP and Modem, but if that's not an option, you'll want to check in with the chat/phone teams. You can contact Official Xbox Support through either the
live chat option (if available) or phone team

The only other thing I've seen before that was like this issue was a bandwidth restriction that kicked into place at a specific time as well as an ISP firewall. The customer had only found that out after reaching out to their ISP though. It's not something
we've seen before and I'm assuming at this point that you don't have any sort of bandwidth limitations currently. That's why I thought if you did have an issue like that, your ISP would be able to tell you about it.
