    Since this could be related/isolated to a particular ISP, please name your ISP, along with the make and model of your router and modem.

    Same situation here... XBOX Live servers getting hit hard? (support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status) says everything is good. Keep me posted if you guys find a resolution.
    I hope my xbox isn't faulty. It's been months since I ran it.

    I am having the exact same issue. I was downloading Gears 4 then disconnected and after I reconnected the download finished, but I haven't been able to reconnect to xbox live since. My connection test will say I am connected, but any attempts to connect
    to xbox live will not do anything at all.
