Connection problems

I have contacted rockstar support and opened a ticket 3 weeks ago when my problem has started and they just give me the run around. The issue i'm having is for the past 3 weeks online will take forever to load I will be in the loading clouds for awhile and
when I do finally join a lobby I am by myself. I will go to join new session and same thing and will repeat the process. I was in a lobby finally yesterday with 23 other players then went to find new session to see if maybe the problem was fixed but nope another
lobby by myself. My ports are fine my NAT is fine I deleted the game and reinstalled it and my profile (what rockstar said) and same thing. before the 3 weeks I never had any problems and GTA V online on my 360 works with no problems. was curious if anyone
else is running into a similar problem and how I even fix this. I have had this game on the One since the game launched and never had an issue.

Smartglass connection problems

Hello all,

I've searched the Internet and can't find a solution to my issue. I can't get Smartglass to connect to my console over my wi-fi network . I have the app installed on my Xoom and Razr. I have Smartglass enabled on my console. I can't connect using either device. Eventually, I get a message saying "Unable to locate my console". I can, however, connect with my phone over 4g. Is there a setting on my router that needs to be changed? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Connection problem - HELP

Hey guys,
So it's been about a year since I bought my Xbox 360 (newer generation), and my Xbox Live connection works 2 days out of 3. I use wireless connection. My Xbox is pretty far from my router, but when I connect to a network, my router shows up and there are usually around 4 bars. When I click on "test connection", this is where it tells me that the console is unable to connect.
Did anyone had this problem before?

 

I'm having a similar problem. No matter if my NAT type is open, moderate, the online gameplay always worked fine but lately it will randomly kick me out at any random time saying connection to xbox live has been lost yadada

 

So for the most part it keeps you in a solo lobby as well? hopefully they fix the issue soon.

 

I am having the same issue. I've had it for the 360 since it launched with no issues. I just got it for the One recently and I get the exact same thing as the OP whenever I try to go online.

 

The rockstar servers need to be un fd but it's not cause of xbox live even if the social aspect been crap recently, rockstar is doing what bf4 did at first with multipler saying it wasn't them

 

Reset your modem and do a hard reset of x box one by holding the lit up x button on the console not the controller. Hold it until the box turns off. This should help you all.

 

I noticed for the past 2 weeks I have been able to get into an almost full lobby so I am wondering if they fixed the problem. My only complaint now is when you're in a lobby for awhile everyone lags out. Hopefully eventually everything is resolved.

 

Had the same problems, not sure whether its a matchmaking issue or not, one thing is for sure its not at our end, its at theirs.

 

Oh one thing that seems to help (although it seems bizarre)

check your targeting settings in story mode when this is happening, sometimes a lobby will force a targeting reset to free aim and it can cause issues getting into other type of lobbies, I did it after a bout of this last night trying to join crew mates
and after a reset to full assist bang went straight in.

 

any other ideas on how to fix this as im still having the same problems and is really starting to annoy me now as brought a ps4 and decided to swap back to xbox one now all i seem to be getting is hassle joining games on gta
