Connection problems with my 360s

I was logging onto GTAO when the connection dropped and the Xbox said I was signed out. When I went to the system settings to try and test the connection I received an error message saying that I needed an adapter before I could connect to a wireless network.
I then tried turning the system off and on again and tried the process again receiving the same message telling me I needed a wireless adapter even though I have a 30 slim and have never had to use an adapter before.

my Xbox 360S was in repair, now I'm permanently having problems with xbox live.

Error 80072746 is being shown, but when I make the connection test it is successful.

An update is not forced.

 

2 xbox ones, one NAT type open other strict

Hey KLLN 4 DA LORD, hopefully we can get it sorted in this thread. We've both had 360s for years and never had any problems with connection

This is most likely a genuine hardware error. But before you send your console in for a repair, try the following solution and let us know how that goes.

Unplug your console's power supply and have your console powered off for 10 minutes. Reconnect everything back again and let us know if you receive the same error message.
