Connection problems at school

Hello everyone. If you're reading this, thank you. I've been in school since fall semester and had been playing my xbox 360 online just fine. Of course I had to send my mac address to my school so i could connect. I did this both for my 360 and XBone.
I only recently started playing my xbox one at school because I just got a couple games. Now I'm online right now as I type this, but I can't connect to any games online. I can sometimes connect to my friends parties but no games. I'm currently trying
to get into an Advanced Warfare game, but I can't find a good game. It says testing matches 25.6% - 0/15 good games. I never connect though. Could someone please try to help me out. If there's no way around it, I understand, but if there is I'd appreciate
the help. Thank you.

Yes I am. I am at my school and we have our fair share of internet problems but not like this before.

2 wlid accounts set up - can I transfer Gold membership to new account

4004 by the xfinity service means that your Connection to the internet is not a Comcast line.

So if you were at school away at school per-say you could not use xfinity to stream because the school does not use Comcast for there ISP.

There is fix to this it is done by design.

Problem with the latest gen of games is that many use ports that normally blocked by default. As developers continue to add more pointless stuff no one really needs networking errors will be more common. I have no idea how you would go about fixing this
on a schools network.

It says there's a problem with my connection. I think the issue is that my school can't register my Xbox so I can use their internet connection.

I was looking at the school's website and it says that the internet is available for the gaming consoles and all that is required is a wired connection to the internet. Is it possible there is a problem with the port on the xbox because ive been able to
connect to wireless internet but have never tried a wired connection?

Hey there!

Sorry to hear you have been having a hard time with the connection on the Xbox One X. Being that this is not your personal network, there is not too much that we can do to troubleshoot the issue.

As you stated, everything worked fine when connected through the network back home and is only giving you this problem when you are connecting at school.

Make sure to speak with your schools IT so that they can assist you further with this issue.

Are you connecting through home or a school (ie. college/university)? If it's a school, try contacting the internet's admin to see what they suggest.
