Connection issues

Hey everyone,I've been having some major connectivity issues with my xbox one for the past two days,I'm having the 'can't connect to DHCP server' and i've tried all the various ways of figuring it out but I don't what the hell most of this all means!Please
help

Connection Error Troubleshooter and run through all the steps provided there. Let us know how it goes

Update!

With the ethernet cable plugged I experienced no disconnections. I think that the problem is with my flatemates xbox as i've used the wifi adapter at home on my own xbox without problems. I Think i'll just buy a 15m ethernet cable, dont think they are too
expensive.

Should I connect that through the router or to the modem directly?

It's most likely caused by that moderate NAT you say is showing up. You'll need to either port-forward the necessary ports for Xbox LIVE to your Xbox console, or you'll need to put your Xbox in your router's DMZ.
