my xbox 360 wont connect to the internet. Iv done everything from reboot to factory reset and clearing caches. Ita giving me a code (80151901) any help is appreciated.

Sorry to hear about the network performance and connection problems. Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console?

Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox 360 console and please provide the following information.

How to run the test.

Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select
System Settings.

Select Network Settings.

Select the name of your wired or wireless network (if applicable).

Select Network Statistics.

Please provide this information/results

Download Speed

Upload Speed

Latency

Packet Loss %

Wireless Strength (if applicable)

Modem Manufacturer

Router Manufacturer (if being used) as well as the model number

That information will help us determine the next best steps. Thanks!

Update!

With the ethernet cable plugged I experienced no disconnections. I think that the problem is with my flatemates xbox as i've used the wifi adapter at home on my own xbox without problems. I Think i'll just buy a 15m ethernet cable, dont think they are too
expensive.

It's most likely caused by that moderate NAT you say is showing up. You'll need to either port-forward the necessary ports for Xbox LIVE to your Xbox console, or you'll need to put your Xbox in your router's DMZ.
