    I'm guessing your playing Advanced Warfare? Sure it doesn't say "Connection to the host has been lost" which means, obviously, that you can no longer connect to the games host? I'm pretty sure the reason it will kick you from games is because you have an overly high ping (in excess of 200ms I think). Try looking for games hosted in your local area, because from the sound of it you and your friend are joining games that are being hosted by players in other states/countries, which will have an impact on your connection and occasionally have you kicked. Happens to me all the time on BF and CSGO

    How to connect to Xbox Live in X1

    There is no button or menu to connect!

    The system is not connected, I do a network test and it passes, but still is not connected... I can't do anything with the X1 if it's not connected to live!

    Is there a way to manually connect to Xbox live in this console?

    I love paying 60 bucks for a service that seems always broken lately. I also love paying another 60 dollars for a game i cant play cuz the service is broken. And whats even better? the people in charge of the service dont say a dam thing

    I literally just transferred all my *** over to next gen Destiny and it was 10% from being done and I can't play with my friends now. I just bought it like an hour ago...

    Add me to the list of people this is happening to. It seems like my profile is also permanently stuck on "appear offline" right now, and every time I switch it, it changes right back when I leave the settings menu, maybe that's the issue?

    I not only have issue with this problem but with the box itself and the controller and headset too. I am tired of constantly resetting my xbox due to some stupid technical I am so far not finding this system as being the best ever for xbox. I really wish
    they would fix these issues once and for all so we can just enjoy gaming with our friends again. Hopefully they will get this issue resloved.

    Same same same! Everything was pretty much good up until two months ago then all types of stupid stuff starts happening! Now the last three days have been just broken to say it nicely! Fix your ***
