    Connection issues


    Hi . On xbox one, ark survival evolved i am struggling to connect. Keeps on telling me that could not retrieve address and some times say connection timed out .I have to cycle through basically all the ports manually and after about 10mins or so i eventually
    find one that allows me in the online official server .i have tried alot of fixes but to no joy. Can anyone relate and hopefully help me so i can sort this out because it's very frustrating to struggle like this everytime i want to play and can't log in .

    Update!

    With the ethernet cable plugged I experienced no disconnections. I think that the problem is with my flatemates xbox as i've used the wifi adapter at home on my own xbox without problems. I Think i'll just buy a 15m ethernet cable, dont think they are too
    expensive.

    It's most likely caused by that moderate NAT you say is showing up. You'll need to either port-forward the necessary ports for Xbox LIVE to your Xbox console, or you'll need to put your Xbox in your router's DMZ.
