    I just bought a Polaroid 32GSR3000FC 32" Flat Panel 720p LED TV and I have an issue that I am running into. I have my Xbox 360 connected to it and I use it for a dvd
    player as well as a gaming console. I have it connected using a Standard HDMI cable, but for some reason when I start the DVD player the screen goes black. I can still hear the sound, but there is no picture. I have already tried to look at the settings
    on both machines, but I haven't had any luck getting them to work correctly. I then tried to switch cables, but that didn't work either. Just on a whim, I used my component cables to connect them and it worked just fine. I noticed when the Xbox first comes
    on or when I am playing a game it shows 1080P in the top corner of the TV. When I start a DVD with the components connected the message switches to 480. When using just the HDMI cable there is no change and the screen stays black. Am I missing something
    as to a difference between the component cables and the HDMI cable? Or is there a setting I can change? Because I would rather use the HDMI cable personally. I don't think I have ever had this issue with other TV's in the past. Any help would be greatly
    appreciated.

    Update!

    With the ethernet cable plugged I experienced no disconnections. I think that the problem is with my flatemates xbox as i've used the wifi adapter at home on my own xbox without problems. I Think i'll just buy a 15m ethernet cable, dont think they are too
    expensive.

    It's most likely caused by that moderate NAT you say is showing up. You'll need to either port-forward the necessary ports for Xbox LIVE to your Xbox console, or you'll need to put your Xbox in your router's DMZ.
