Connection Issues

I started having this issue a few days ago, I can't seem to connect to XBL. All of my other devices I have can connect just fine, even the laptop I run the ethernet cable from.

I've reset the network settings on my 360, cleared the cache, restarted my laptop, turned the xbox on/off, restarted my router, I opened the ports before, the MAC address has been in since I've had the 360, and I'm 99% sure my DHCP settings are fine, since
I changed them before and had it work.

I have no idea what to do.

I'm not going to delete my profile, then not be able to connect and download it again. It won't even let me connect when I'm not signed in. I can't run the ethernet cable directly from my router (no tv in the room).

It keeps telling me that my router may not be assigning an IP address. Typed in the nice little site they provide (the /ipaddress-help one) , didn't do jack. Got the "oops what happened to this page"/page not found error. Has anyone else had this issue and
solved it? Or if anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it.

HP did recently update the driver for my wireless adapter on my laptop, but that shouldn't affect the router itself.

Anyone else having issues? My internet seems to be fine, but I've been routinely kicked pretty much all day

Based on your error logs above, it does look like your network is having a hard time assigning an IP address to your Xbox.

In your post, you stated that you can't run an ethernet cable directly from your Xbox to your router. Does this mean you're plugging your Xbox into your computer to share the internet connection? If so, please make sure you're following the correct steps
to either
share your computer's connection, or create a bridged connection by following the steps on this page.

Please advise us whether or not you are attempting to connect via this method to allow us to assist you further

Yes, I'm running the cable from the 360 to my laptop to share the connection. I turned on sharing and all that (It was one of the first things I checked). I redid all of the steps from that page, entered the manual IP and everything, but I'm still getting
getting the error when I sign in.

My laptop runs Windows 8.1, and is an HP Pavilion. The cable is the standard, grey, cat 5 that came with the xbox.
