Connection issues

So for the past few days I have been experiencing connection problems.

Every 30 minutes of playing online, my xbox disconnects and I receive the message;

Your console can't connect to Xbox Live. Do you want to exit this session and test your network connection? If you are playing a game, you will lose any unsaved progress. 80151904.

Can someone please help me or tell me what to do?

If you haven't already, try the following steps up front and let us know how that goes and we'll work from there.

Clear Xbox system cache

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
   
2. Select Storage or Memory.
3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
4. Select Clear System Cache.
5. Repeat this process 3 times in row.

Restore Xbox Network settings

Go to Xbox Network Settings and select Configure Network. Select the
Additional settings tab and Restore network settings to factory defaults and turn off your console.

Power cycle your networking equipment

Power off your modem and router for a couple of minutes.

Start with your modem and wait one minute for it to connect properly and proceed with your router and wait another minute.

Turn on your console and go to Xbox Network settings. Select Test Xbox Live Connection (if wireless, reconfigure Xbox wireless settings). Let us know if test fails to connect properly and if so, where does it fail to connect.

I followed your steps and it seems to have resolved my problem

It seems my problem has returned again.

My xbox disconnected with the error code 80151904.

I can fix it temporarily by restarting my console but it always seem to happen after 15- 30 mins of playing and sometimes when I begin to play a game.

 

Ok ok.

Error code, 80151904 is not that easy to just aim, shoot and *POFF*, it's gone. But let's try with the following step up front and if that doesn't work, take a look
here and post back in full detail (the questions in bold), so that me, or anyone else that wish to jump in, can have a better understanding of your situation.

Let's proceed!

Delete Xbox LIVE profile safely

Before you delete your profile you have to know the username and password for your Microsoft account that is associated with your profile.

1. Go to Settings, and then select System.
2. Select Storage.
3. Select All Devices.
4. Select Gamer Profiles.
5. Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
6. Select Delete.
7. Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.
   

Restart your console.

Download Xbox LIVE profile.

1. Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).
   
2. Select Download Profile.
3. Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
4. Enter your Microsoft account password.

i cant sign in to xbox live and says there was a problem try again later code 80151103

 

also when a try to start a game it signs me out of profile

 

UpnP was enabled.

I'll have to try a wired connection.

The 80151904 error code still pops up but not as often as before.
