Hey shnarfdog I'm having the exact same problem, exactly how did you put your router in bridge mode and then did you just go buy a new linksys one?

The Technicolor-TC8305C can be set to be operating in bridge mode, but should be done by your Internet Service Provider.

There's an in-depth, and a comprehensive information list, regarding routers that have been tested, to work seamlessly, or has some known issues, with connectivity to Xbox Live. This list of information can be of use, if you're determined to go for a new
router.

Ok so I bought a Cisco/Linksys EA2700 made that my default router and then put my Comcast Technicolor TC8305C in bridge mode and now have my xbox hardwired to the Linksys, is that the correct way to do it?

 

If your Technicolor TC8305C is properly operating in bridge mode, and you've got an Ethernet Cable connected to a LAN port on the TC8305C's, which terminate to the WAN port on your EA2700, and your Xbox to a LAN port on the EA2700, then it's a yes!

Putting this router in bridge mode and using another wireless router will fix the issue.

I haven't seen any other people indicating this symptom, exactly, but this is what has been happening to me for the last few days (perhaps since I upgraded my Comcast modem) on my 360:

I can log into Xbox live just fine. It takes me to the dashboard and automatically logs into my profile. As soon as I pick something to do (play a game, Netflix, YouTube, HBOGO, etc.) it kicks me out of Xbox live. Then the game or app starts and I have
to sign back into Xbox live and my profile. It does this EVERY. SINGLE. TIME I switch what I'm doing. Are other people experiencing this? Is this likely also being caused by the INFINITY/COMCAST hardware issues described above?
