Connection issues IP address errors and not type strict

ok so I was playing destiny the other day and it came up with the usual "contacting destiny servers" which we all know and love......not! It then dumped me out the game and then went offline completely back to the startup screen.

since this I now cannot connect by wifi as it's constantly saying up address not found

my nat type is strict

my my wifi is shown and picked up by Xbox but when it tries to connect just comes up with the same error

i tried all the resets and unplugging all exterior devices, routers, hard resets and the like and still no good

i tried to connect my phone to it, which it did pick up but the phone said connected yet the Xbox still came up with the error

any ideas would be greatly appreciated the next step is to take it to another household to single out whether it's my Xbox that's now faulty

Yes, NAT type shows strict and testing the multiplayer connection yields this error: 'Can't get a Teredo IP address'

Dont forget to set a "static Ip address on the router and in network settings"

Right now Xbox live is down. support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status

Try disabling your firewall (worked for me on Destiny).

 

I may have to try that when I get back on thanks, went onto connected devices on pc and deleted it completely and then tried reconnecting and now it must be connected as it's updating
