Connection issues, disrupting play

this is an issue with your own internet

Hey there Guy! What happens when the connection from your router gets disrupted? What disrupts it? Do you reset your modem and router after this happens?

Good call. If the console isn't freezing when offline, then the issue has to be the net connection.

Was the update of the console and controller yesterday, are still ongoing phenomenon and disrupt the connection is .... What to do?

A denial of service attack can disrupt your internet connection in your home. It can cause connection issues and slow downs.

However, there is no way in the world someone can 'Fry your router'. It's simply not possible. And such an attack will not damage your console either.

Note that just sending a threat to disrupt a connection while using Xbox Live would lead to permanent suspension for the person making the threat.

If you are ever subjected to such an attack, which, I might add, is done via a computer, a call to your internet provider can easily fix this.
