connection issues and NAT type sudden change

Okay so I got my friends list back and am able to join party with my friends that's checked BUT just tonight my NAT type switched to Strict from OPEN how is that possible?? and where unable to connect on evolve atm as well cause of the NAT I'm guessing
can still hear each other in party lol could it be due to these connection issues or what??

Hi,

So I own an xbox one and i've had it for about a year now and since i got it the internet connection has been working perfectly. But just recently, about 2 or 3 weeks ago, It all of a sudden stopped working. The xbox is fine and I can connect to xbox live
but i can't join any parties or play any multiplayer games. I know its because of strict NAT type and I've called my router provider to help open the ports but when I opened the ports, my internet connection on every device stopped working. No one in my house
could use the internet. I also checked the xbox to see if it worked but it didn't at all. Our devices could connect to the actual network but the loading screens never went away so the internet was inaccessible. The only solution was to close the ports so
the internet would work again.

I just really really need help. I have tried everything at this point and I don't know what else to do. I chatted with 4 different xbox workers and they all sent me to my router and modem providers who couldn't help me. I'm very confused because it used
to work just fine; no problems with connecting to parties or multiplayer games or anything. and now all of a sudden I have a strict NAT type and my xbox refuses to work. PLEASE HELP.

If NAT changed to strict then there is something wrong with your network setup.

You need to give more information like what modem and router you are using and what ISP you are with.

With this information someone may be able to help you fix it.
