    Connection issue


    So we all all know that the controller turns it’s self after a period of inactivity. Well sometimes my controller will stay on after that period of inactivity but not be connected to my Xbox one S. I thought it was my controller as I haven’t had much luck with controllers. So I bought a brand new controller and had the same thing happen. Any ideas I’m thinking the receiver in my console is having issues

    Update!

    With the ethernet cable plugged I experienced no disconnections. I think that the problem is with my flatemates xbox as i've used the wifi adapter at home on my own xbox without problems. I Think i'll just buy a 15m ethernet cable, dont think they are too
    expensive.

    It's most likely caused by that moderate NAT you say is showing up. You'll need to either port-forward the necessary ports for Xbox LIVE to your Xbox console, or you'll need to put your Xbox in your router's DMZ.
