Connection Issue

Hi, everytime i play FIFA14 midgame i disconnect but i dont disconnect from EA Servers.

I contacted EA and they said the fault is on my end.

My download speed is 30+ mbps, upload speed 1.1+ mbps

when i do the test multiplayer connection i can see that i have a latency of over 200ms

I have tried everything, port fowarding, reset connection, reset settings please help

A latency of 200 is rather high for efficient gaming, I recommend having less than 100ms for latency. Are you currently using wifi for your connection? If so that can be the cause of the disconnections.

When doing the network test the ping is normally quite high if you aren't in the US because the server it is located in Seattle. If you live far from Seattle don't worry about it, however if you live close and your latency is still showing high results then
it's most likely an issue your end. In which case you might want to start by rebooting your modem/router/gateway.

As for the issue with FIFA, is this just today? There was a service alert mentioning issues with FIFA earlier but it's now gone. Are you still having issues?

Update!

With the ethernet cable plugged I experienced no disconnections. I think that the problem is with my flatemates xbox as i've used the wifi adapter at home on my own xbox without problems. I Think i'll just buy a 15m ethernet cable, dont think they are too
expensive.

It's most likely caused by that moderate NAT you say is showing up. You'll need to either port-forward the necessary ports for Xbox LIVE to your Xbox console, or you'll need to put your Xbox in your router's DMZ.
