Connection is good but Xbox Live cannot be connected

The very first time I was able to connect to XBOX Live. But now I am not. I have applied various remedies as offered on the internet but failed. The connection is wireless,good and stable and Xbox shows that it has connected to the internet , but when I
try to connect to XBOX live it says "It might be a problem on our side, we are working on it".
Please help.

Yes not working, looks like live is down. If you disconnect the net connection it'll let you load your profile on the One but you cannot connect to the Live servers.

I recently purchased an Xbox live gold membership. All details have been registered and authenticated. However I cannot access Xbox live. On checking network settings it appears that the Network connection & internet connection (wireless connection) are
both connected but the xbox live is signalling "failed".

The error message advises the console is connected but cannot contact Xbox live. The above message num ber does not appear on the Xbox website.

I'm not exactly a computer wizz.

Can anyone advise how I should proceed.

Are you still seeing issues with connecting to Xbox Live? If you're still not able to connect let's try a full power cycle on your console by holding the power button for 10 seconds (or until console powers off). While your console is off try resetting your
network by unplugging network hardware for 30 seconds and reconnect.

After you reset your network try connecting to Xbox Live again and let us know how it goes.

 

Sounds like my problem, dealt with it the first two days figured its an update rolling out issue but today I tried the 10 second power and router reset but nothing. My Xbox wont let anyone sign into their profiles UNLESS I go to network,hit go offline and
stay off other than that when I'm connected it will let me browse the store and say everything is fine as Long as I don't sign in which means I can't play games.

 

Just experienced this problem last night. Picked up halo came back and Internet not working. Tested it and it says I'm connected but all I have is home screen saying connect to xbox live. No shop, or friends screen. Nothing involving Internet is working
for me but it's showing connected. My BF with his XB1 in the house using wifi works perfect.
