Connection is choppy

Hi so Uhhhh I got my Xbox One two days ago and I got xbox live and I connected it to the Internet but the problem is the connection is choppy and when I play multiplayer it lags but when I use other devices the Internet runs fast (my internet is Comcast
btw) is there a problem with the Xbox One or something? Btw sometimes the Xbox one will lose connection but most of the time there's Internet but I can't play on multiplayer

Display/video output is jittery/choppy (losing frames). Very noticeable watching movies and on the home screen

You should check your net connection, part of the choppy visuals is caused by lagging.

 

Xbox One Wireless Controller causes computer to crash after game exit

TrackZ, that's probably my exact same case. The only time I turn off my controller / lose connection is when I exit a game, so it would make sense. Any connection loss causes the choppy mouse and loud boop noises.

 

same problem here. when i review the network statistics for the internet on the xbox one i get download speeds btw 1 to 3mbps and ping 118ms.

so i have done the following

a)CHecked internet speed with my local service provider. no outages and my speed is good with them 10MB.

b) had reset router. check download speed on PC wireless . OK getting 9.6 MB

c) enter the router configuration to validate how many equipments are using my router

had to eliminate my uninvited neighbors that we stealing my internet by configuring the router to conect equipment only by mac adrss. registered only 2 smartphones, pc and xbox

on cels and pc internet works fine. speed above 2 on each device.

d) disconected all devices and validate that only the xbox one is conected wireless to router

still speed does not go above 3mb

e) had inactivated wirelless on router and check with ethernet cable connected directly to pc

speed is on 9.2 MB

f) had reset xbox one and concect it to router directly with ethernet cable. still *** speed does not go above 3MB....

how do i get the xbox one to use the full internet speed i have?????

 

Try a couple things for me. Go into your settings on your Xbox One, then click Network. Here you will find all necessary online capability options. In the middle under "Current Network Status" next to your type of router it will show the four bars of how
well your connection is. Check that out and make sure the bars are all full. If not, just to the right under "Troubleshooting" it will say test your network connection. You're going to want to do that and it should help root out what may be causing your slow
speed.

While you're in settings go down and click Bandwidth Usage. This will give you detailed info on how much bandwidth is being used in your home. A possible issue could be too many devices logged on the net at the same time causing your Xbox to slow and lag.
