Connection for xbox 360

So its not just me according to the service alert message on this web. But this has been going on for a bleady long time. It was like this i think last year for a very long time, i dont know if that was the same thing or it was just my connection being very
unstable. My connection problems started with far cry 4, i couldnt go on party chat, i couldnt play multiplayer, i couldnt..do anything..i lost connection as soon as that happened. Then i play a diffrent game to see what happens and it works alot better, Call
of Duty black ops. But every so often it will get bad again, it seems to depend on what i do and use. I tried sending a voice message just now and that doesnt work. I was able to go on party chat when i was on xbox main menu, after i stopped with far cry 4.
I just want to be able to play online, chat to friends, without connection problems constanly suddenly happening. Im wondering why its taking so long to be fixed. I should be fixed by now. They said on a message on this web theyll fix it ASAP, it doesnt seem
like it. Online is good for so many f****n things.

One of the inputs is fooked on my amp ,so at the moment I'm having to switch HDMI from ps3 to 360 , bit of a pain .

So I was thinking if the sky box goes the 360 could go there . How are you connecting to 360 to the Xbox one ?

you can't connect the PS3 guitar to the 360...if that's what you mean

360 = wireless
PS3 = Bluetooth

 

Buy the way right now its really bad, i cant connect and play on Black ops now. I wonder if ill be able to do anything online right now. Hopefully, if it is, it wont be this bad for too long.

 

Have you tried resetting your router ? What is your nat set at?

 

How do you check your nat?

 

This behavior can be caused by several things.

First, to answer the question about NAT (which can be a cause for not being able to connect to an online lobby):

On the Xbox 360, go to the settings hub on the far right, then to the system tile in the upper left, and then to the network settings.

There do a connection test to Xbox Live. If you get a warning about your NAT causing issues for party and multiplayer connections, you have a non-open NAT.

To get an open NAT, you need to configure your router to either allow automatic port forwarding via UPnP, or manually forward the necessary Xbox Live Ports (mainly 3074) to the Xbox 360 IP address (that you should make static).

However, that behavior can also happen, when your profile or system cache on the console gets corrupted.

If you start a game, and it suddenly goes offline, then chances are, the console detected that the game has an update, that differs from the version stored on your console. Either because the game was updated by the publisher, and the version on your console
is outdated, or the update your console has downloaded is corrupt, and differs from the update that was published long ago.

To resolve that, go to the settings, and under system go to "Storage". There highlight any storage device and press the Y button. Then choose the option to clear the system cache. Don't worry, this system cache only stores temporary data, with no user or
savegame data. It can safely be deleted, and the console will rebuild the data automatically.

Repeat the system cache clearing three times.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, make sure you know your account's correct email address. Go to Settings, then Account in the lower left, and then to "Your Information" and "Security Info". Check the email there.

Then open the guide and press X to sign out, if not already done so.

Go to the settings, then system then storage, and go to the profiles folder on all storage devices.

Find your Gamertag profile and delete it from the console.

When the console asks if data associated with that profile should be deleted as well, DO NOT delete that data! ONLY delete the Profile, NOT the associated data, as this will delete your savegames and downloaded content!!!

Then press the guide button again, and "Download Profile".

Provide the email that you gathered from the information above and the password.

Be aware, that if you have
"Two Step Verification" enabled on your account, that you need to
create an App Password here, and use that instead of your regular password.
