Connection error when wired

Whenever I log on and I check my internet connection it says that everything is good. I’ll play with my friends online in Dead by daylight and in the middle of the game I get disconnected. This happens every 5 minutes I play the game and it’s not caused
by the game host because my friends were still in the game at the time. This also causes me to disconnect from the party chat and I get signed out automatically. Can you please help me fix this. The games are unplayble because of this.

Sorry for the issue with disconnecting. When this happens what does your NAT type say. If anything other than open, this can be causing the issue. You can try the

guide for random disconnect. Let us know how it goes.

My NAT type is open, sometimes it will say moderate after I disconnect. It returns to normal after disconnecting

check your router settings, this seems a problem of your side

Hey there Shane!

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to get to the bottom of what's going on with these random disconnects. I would say that if the previous troubleshooting steps did not help then it might help to try what we call a soft reset of your
console.

It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games
&
apps.
