Connection and update issues

I am having trouble getting signed in to live, and when I do it won't update my game. I have reverted all devices in my house to data and turned off the desktop computer so that my 360 is the only thing using any bandwidth and have shut my console and wireless
modem of and restarted, but it hasn't helped. According to the service status website the only thing that should be down right now is online services for Battlefield 4. I'm trying to update and play CoD:Ghosts online.

DESPERATE for help !

for anyone with controller issues, this popped up in tonight's preview update.
A fix to address an issue for users who find their controller will no longer connect via a wireless connection, and only works over USB. If this has occurred to you, after taking this system update, you will be able to connect your controller via a USB cable and wait a few seconds before unplugging it. This will recover your controller and you will be able to connect wirelessly. It is expected that subsequent controller firmware updates will fail. This will be addressed in a later system update.

 

Update 6 Can't Download

What update? I am having serious server connection issues and was wondering if there was an update

 

And just to emphasize, all these update issues are IF I can get logged in. And when I test connection it says service and accounts are up, so I shouldn't have any problems just connecting to live.

When I finally get connected and start Ghosts, it says I have to update our sign out of live. I click on update and it starts but only gets somewhere between 1/16th to 1/32 complete and then just stops. After about 10 mins it says unable to download.

 

Error code when update fails is sometimes 40A3-0000-D080-0200-8007-2746 and others it's 40A3-0000-D080-0200-8007-2EE2

After leaving my 360 of for a week, the connection issues are no more. And now that I have no connection issue the update is downloading normally. Thanks, Microsoft/Xbox, for the "wonderful" help and your "timely" responses.

 

Same problem right now with far cry 4. Same circumstance. Same things tried different code. Please help.

 

Today all I can do is turn my unit on and I end up with a grey screen with the little circle chasing itself. I can't do anything with my X Box. Not even a game OFF LINE. My internet is fine. I have no flashing lights.

 

I removed my hard drive and the unit wanted to download a large update. I let it even without the hard drive being reinstalled. Every thing was working fine except I couldn't do anything with the X BOx except move around the site. Not able to play anything
when I put the drive back on. Back to the gray screen.
